Megan Silverstrim

Megan Silverstrim is the media relations and social media manager at Shippensburg University.

Prior to joining the university she spent 10 years as the Cumberland County Public Information Officer, where she worked extensively with local and regional fire, EMS and law enforcement officials.

She is a graduate of Shippensburg University, where she majored in political science.

Specializing in crisis communications and social media, she has presented programs on both topics at several conferences across the Commonwealth. She is a member of the South Central Task Force PIO Subcommittee and the Cumberland County Safe Schools Association. She currently resides in Shippensburg with her husband TJ and their two sons, Gavin and Grant.
