Gleim has served the community in numerous capacities. He is the current President for Cumberland County Local Emergency Planning Committee. He is the past President of Pennsylvania State Crime Stoppers at the state level
Gleim lives in Middlesex Township with his wife, Karen. He has 4 adult sons and 1 adult daughter. In addition, he has 6 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.
